Developing Leaders in Innovation
社會的發(fā)展離不開有魅力的領(lǐng)袖的推動。無論在政治、學(xué)術(shù)還是行業(yè)發(fā)展中，領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力都發(fā)揮著極其重要的作用。何為成功的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力？這個問題的答案并非一成不變，而是隨著社會和時代發(fā)展不斷豐富、不斷進步的。特別是在科學(xué)技術(shù)高速發(fā)展的今天，成功的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力應(yīng)被賦予新的涵義，使得未來的領(lǐng)袖有能力解決多領(lǐng)域、多地域的新挑戰(zhàn)。什么是有效的未來領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力？領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力與科技創(chuàng)新有什么關(guān)聯(lián)？如何在科技創(chuàng)新的背景下培養(yǎng)領(lǐng)導(dǎo)力？本節(jié)課程將帶你一同尋找答案。
Our society is driven by charismatic leaders. One can never overemphasize the importance of leadership, no matter in politics, academia, or industry. The meaning of successful leadership does not stay static and is forever evolving over time. With the rapid development of technology and innovative solutions world-wide, future leaders must be equipped with additional capacities that enable them to tackle cross-sectoral local and global challenges. What is effective leadership for the future? What is the connection between leadership and technological innovation? How do leaders become successful in an innovative context? This lecture aims to help students find the answers to these questions.
2. 特約教授/學(xué)者簡介 Special Invited Professor/Scholar
饒培倫
清華大學(xué)工業(yè)工程系教授，全球創(chuàng)新學(xué)院（GIX）副院長，美國普渡大學(xué)工業(yè)工程博士。曾任清華大學(xué)工業(yè)工程系人因與工效學(xué)研究所所長，美國北卡羅來納大學(xué)和佐治亞理工大學(xué)、韓國延世大學(xué)兼職教授，微軟中國研究院、德國亞琛工業(yè)大學(xué)、日本中央大學(xué)訪問學(xué)者，國家自然科學(xué)基金委杰出青年科學(xué)基金獲得者。主要研究方向為人因工程、人機交互、用戶洞察與體驗創(chuàng)新、跨文化研究、福祉設(shè)計、服務(wù)設(shè)計與評估等。
Pei-Luen Patrick Rau
Pei-Luen Patrick Rau is Vice Dean of the Tsinghua University Global Innovation Exchange (GIX) Institute, Professor of the Department of Industrial Engineering, and Former Director of the Institute of Human Factors and Ergonomics at Tsinghua University. He received his PhD at the School of Industrial Engineering at Purdue University, Indiana, USA. He is an Adjunct Professor of Georgia Tech University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Yonsei University; Visiting Professor of Chuo University and RWTH Aachen University of Technology; Visiting Scholar of Microsoft Research Asia, and a Distinguished Young Scholar of the National Science Foundation China. His research areas include Human Factors Engineering, Human Computer Interaction, User Insights and Experience Innovation, Cross-Cultural design, Accessibility, and Service Design and Evaluation.
3. 學(xué)術(shù)支持單位介紹 Academic Support Department
全球創(chuàng)新學(xué)院（簡稱GIX）成立于2015年，是清華大學(xué)、美國華盛頓大學(xué)與微軟集團在美國西雅圖聯(lián)合創(chuàng)立的創(chuàng)新教育和科研平臺，也是清華大學(xué)在海外設(shè)立的首個教育科研基地，被稱為“走出去的清華園”，標志學(xué)校在國際化辦學(xué)方面邁出的重要步伐。2015年9月，習(xí)近平總書記訪美期間向GIX贈送水杉樹，祝愿學(xué)院茁壯成長。
Founded by Tsinghua University, the University of Washington, and Microsoft, Global Innovation Exchange (GIX) is a global collaboration between leading universities and cross-sector partners. It is a new model of experiential education and technological innovation in a global context. The goal of GIX is to foster talents to leverage emerging technologies to address local and global challenges in new and impactful ways. GIX is not only a platform for students and young professionals in the technology innovation field, but also the headquarters of Tsinghua University in North America - known as "the overseas Tsinghua Campus".
本期為清華大學(xué)2021全球暑校系列課程之一。清華大學(xué)2021年全球暑期學(xué)校將于6月28日至7月6日舉辦，本次暑校主題為“創(chuàng)新可持續(xù)發(fā)展”。屆時將有世界各地1000余名優(yōu)秀青年學(xué)生以在線方式參加課程。
The 2021 Tsinghua Global Summer School will be held from June 28 to July 6, themed Innovation for Sustainable Development. There will be more than 1,000 outstanding young students from all over the world participating in the courses online.
