On November 22, the award ceremony of 2010-2011 Tsinghua Alumni – Litree Scholarship was held at the building of SOE. 13 students from SOE were awarded the scholarship. President of the Litree Purifying Technology Co., Ltd, Tsinghua 1984 alumni Chen Lianggang and Dean of SOE Yu Gang attended the ceremony and presented the certificates to the students.
At the ceremony, Chen Lianggang introduced the development history of Litree and the original intention that he set up the scholarship. He hoped the awarded students would study hard, develop in an all-around way and devote themselves to the environmental protection industry. Yu Gang also encouraged the students to develop an indomitable fighting spirit and a strong sense of social responsibility, keep mission in mind in their study and work, put their feet on the ground and learn something that you can use in serving the society. Deputy Director of the student affairs’ office, Xiang Hui, attended the ceremony and introduced the financial assistance system and its objectives in Tsinghua University.
