The first Summer Exchange Program between the Division of Environmental System Analysis of SOE and Brook Byers Institute for Sustainable Systems (BBISS) of Georgia Institute of Technology was launched on July 20 and lasted for 12 days. 7 graduate students from BBISS and 11 students of SOE joined the program.
The Dean Assistant of SOE Liu Shuming had the opening address at the opening ceremony. Professor Liu Yi from the Division of Environmental System Analysis presided over it. Deputy Dean of SOE Zuo Jian’e gave a general introduction about Tsinghua and SOE. Students in the exchange program also presented their own research projects. The program will continue to exchange less than 10 students from one side every year.
