課程簡介: 生物膜法是污水生物處理的主要技術(shù)之一,。本課程針對具有一定環(huán)境工程與環(huán)境科學(xué)背景的研究生,,圍繞近年來生物膜研究的基礎(chǔ)和熱點問題,重點講述生物膜的特性,、反應(yīng)過程與模型,,以及生物膜技術(shù)與傳感器技術(shù)等領(lǐng)域的發(fā)展對生物膜解析的帶動作用以及對生物膜結(jié)構(gòu)和功能不斷深入的研究成果。課程首先講述基于微生物學(xué)的生物膜降解動力學(xué)、生物膜傳質(zhì)動力學(xué),,介紹各向異性生物膜的結(jié)構(gòu),、種群分布及功能特征,接著講述了基于微電極技術(shù)的生物膜特性解析,,繼之介紹生物膜模型,,分析懸浮態(tài)系統(tǒng)與固定態(tài)系統(tǒng)的特性,最后介紹生物膜法污水處理工藝,。本課程還將介紹一些在該領(lǐng)域研究中活躍的團隊和研究人員,,并請同學(xué)們開展文獻調(diào)研和匯報討論,提高文獻綜述能力,。課程還提供豐富的應(yīng)用實例和生物膜污水處理工藝實地參觀。通過課程學(xué)習(xí),,一方面可以掌握廢水處理生物膜的生物降解動力學(xué)與傳質(zhì)動力學(xué)等基礎(chǔ)知識,,另一方面較為全面地了解生物技術(shù)與傳感器技術(shù)等領(lǐng)域的發(fā)展對附著生長微生物系統(tǒng)解析的帶動作用,以及基于此的生物膜研究的一些最新成果和進展,,開拓研究視野,。本課程是一門基礎(chǔ)理論與實踐兼顧的專業(yè)課程,能夠為水污染治理,、環(huán)境微生物等研究提供可借鑒的研究方法和技術(shù)手段,。
Biofilms play an important role in the biological wastewater treatment process. This course relies on the fundamentals and hot-topics in biofilm studies, mainly introducing the characteristics, reaction mechanism and mathematical modeling of biofilms, and advances in biofilm studies and applications in wastewater treatment due to the drive functions in the fields of biotechnologies and sensor technologies. This course aims at the graduate students, who have basic backgrounds in the environmental engineering and science. This course will start with an introduction to biofilms, the biodegradation kinetics of biofilms and mass transport mechanism in the biofilms. Subsequently, this course will especially introduce the architecture, population structure and function of biofilms, then introduce the interpretation of biofilm characteristics based on the microelectrode technology. In the end, the course will cover the mathematical modeling of biofilm, its comparison with suspended microorganisms, and biofilm reactors used for wastewater treatment. The major researchers in biofilm studies will be mentioned in this course. Students will be required to do literature investigation aiming at on a selected researcher and/or topic related to biofilms and give a presentation at the end of the course. The course will provide abundant application cases and include a visit to a biofilm wastewater treatment plant.
Compared with the suspended-growth microorganisms, biofilms have their unique advantages in the removal of pollutants. This course aims at the graduate students with basic background of environmental engineering and science. Through the study of this course, they can on the one hand grasp the basic knowledge of biodegradation kinetics and mass transport mechanism of biofilm in wastewater treatment, and on the other hand, they can understand comprehensively the advances in the biotechnology and sensor techniques and their impact on the development of attached-growth microbial systems. Some recent achievements and progress in biofilm research will be introduced in this course for the purpose of expanding the vision of research. This course is a professional course that combines basic theory with practice. It can provide the referential research techniques and methods for water pollution control, environmental microorganisms and other researches.
