In this lecture series, the lecturer will review the procedure to gauge a global symmetry in lattice models, and compare/contrast them to anyon condensation. Then, he will review ZX calculus, a particular formulation of tensor networks from quantum information, and show how they can be used to formulate the procedure of gauging a symmetry using measurements and feedback. This framework provides a scalable route to prepare topological order in quantum processors, and transport phenomena in strongly correlated systems, such as strange metalicity, thermal Hal effect and electron hydrodynamics.
