As the river flows gently from source to sea, and as the waves of the ocean swell across the shoreline, so does the magical time of spring fall upon us. As the cold winter begins to fade away, it ushers in a beautiful spring of renewed life, color and intricate design. As the flowers begin to crawl out of their storehouses and start to bud in the ever-warming light of the sun, spring brings forth a time of renewed hope and a fresh beginning.
Spring in Tsinghua is like no other. Dressed with glorious skies of blue, architecture both old and new standing in bold majesty, and untainted nature blossoming in all its splendor, the campus resembles something like a painting in motion; of unreal, yet graceful harmony and serenity. As you make your way past the Tsinghua Auditorium or across the Zijing Playground, every spot tells its own story, every location basks in its own glory.
As students, teachers and staff soldier on through the busy semester, the transition from winter to spring is a breath of fresh air, a reminder to pause and enjoy the beautiful dance that the nature all around the campus puts on display, freely and majestically!
