Teachers and Students of Tsinghua Academy of Design and Art win golds and bronzes at the Third China Fine Arts Award

On December 20th, the “13th National Exhibition of Fine Arts” opened at the National Art Museum of China and the Third “China Fine Arts Award” award ceremony was held. As the most authoritative and influential national award in Chinese art circles, the award-winning works of the “Chinese Fine Arts Award” come from the National Exhibition of Fine Arts. Among them, 37 works stood out and won gold, silver and bronze awards at the Third “China Art Award” (9 gold awards, 14 silver awards and 14 bronze awards).

The conceptual design of the “Feiyue” maglev train jointly designed by Associate Professor Zhang Lie and doctoral student Kong Cuiting of the Tsinghua Academy of Design and Art won a gold at the Third China Fine Arts Award, while the work “Amitabha Sutra” jointly designed by Associate Professor Xu Xiaoding and Dong Xueling won a bronze award.
