Professor Xue Lan Becomes First NASPAA Executive Council Member from China

The Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) announced On October 18th the new leadership at its Annual Conference in Washington, US.
Xue Lan, Professor and Dean of the School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University, was elected one of the five public affairs faculty on NASPAA’s Executive Council for a three-year term. He is the first NASPAA Executive Council member from China and the second coming from outside the U.S.
NASPAA--The Global Standard in Public Service Education announced in July, 2013 that its Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation (COPRA) has accredited the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program at Tsinghua University’s School of Public Policy and Management in Beijing, China. It is the first graduate degree in public affairs from outside the United States to receive the NASPAA Accreditation.
