Krakow Graphic Arts Exhibition from Poland Arrives at Tsinghua
The Krakow Graphic Arts Exhibition, part of the Polish Culture Festival, was held at the Tsinghua University Academy of Arts and Design from November 2nd to 7th. Tsinghua University Council Vice Chairperson, Deng Wei attended the opening ceremony held on November 2nd.
Krakow graphic art has become one of the most remarkable artistic phenomena in Polish art, since World War II. The art is well known and frequently exhibited around the world, as evidenced by dozens of solo and group exhibitions, organized outside of Poland every year.
The artists whose works were presented at the exhibition made their debuts in the mid-1970s. Each of the artists embodies the highest achievements in Polish graphic art, their art being diverse both formally and ideologically.
