Tsinghua SEM Maintains AACSB Accreditation in Business and Accounting
On April 7, 2012, Tsinghua School of Economics and Management (SEM) was officially notified by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) that, as ratified by the Board of Directors of AACSB International, Tsinghua SEM has successfully maintained its accreditation in business and accounting.
In April 2007, Tsinghua SEM attained the AACSB accreditation in business. In December of the same year, SEM gained AACSB accreditation in accounting. In February 2008, SEM also received EQUIS accreditation, thus becoming the first school on the Chinese mainland to attain both AACSB and EQUIS accreditations. In June 2011, European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) officially announced that Tsinghua SEM maintained its EQUIS accreditation.
Tsinghua SEM is now the only business school in Mainland China with three of the world’s top accreditations: AACSB accreditation in business, AACSB accreditation in accounting and EQUIS accreditation.
