Chairman of Hyatt Foundation Visits
Mr. Thomas Pritzker, Chairman of the Hyatt Foundation, visited Tsinghua on March 1. Tsinghua University President Chen Jining met with Mr. Pritzker, exchanging ideas on the further promotion of collaborations between Tsinghua and Hyatt Foundation in the coming years.
At their meeting, President Chen briefed Mr. Pritzker on the history and recent developments of Tsinghua’s School of Architecture and thanked Mr. Pritzker and the Hayatt Foundation for their contribution to the internationalization of Tsinghua’s School of Architecture. They exchanged ideas on architecture and urbanization and how the two organizations can cooperate in the future.
The Pritzker-Tsinghua Fellowship,established in 2011, gives support to Tsinghua students for study at top world architecture firms.
