International Students from Tsinghua University Awarded in “Lai Hua Bei” Beijing International Students Musical Instruments Competition
November 26, 2011, “Lai Hua Bei,” Beijing International Students musical instruments competition was held at the China Conservatory of Music. The competition was organized by Beijing Foreign Student Affairs Research Association, twelve colleges and universities participated in the match. After preliminaries and semi-finals, Tsinghua University foreign students received a total of eight awards. For Second Place the winners are Matsuyama Shopin from Japan and Erik Thomas Grossman from the United States. The Excellence Award winners are Tsukui Yujiro from Japan, Tan Yinle from Malaysia, Paul Sabinus from France, Toni Alexander Lehtonen from Finland, as well as Jun Jekwang and Yue Cheongho from Korea.
