Mr. Steven Joyce, the New Zealand Minister for Tertiary Education, visited Tsinghua University on October 18th. Tsinghua University Council Chairman Hu Heping met and talked with Mr. Joyce. Also attending the discussion were Mr. Carl Worker, New Zealand Ambassador to China, and Professor Liang Xidong, President of Qinghai University. They expressed the hope that more collaboration could be undertaken between Tsinghua and New Zealand universities in the future and discussed triangular cooperation among the University of Auckland, Tsinghua University, and Qinghai University.
