A design team led by Associate Professor and Dean of the Department of Arts and Crafts of Tsinghua's Academy of Arts and Design Hong Xingyu, won a second prize recently in 2010 Shanghai World Expo wayfinding system design competition. Dean Hong Xingyu was invited by the World Expo Affairs Coordination Bureau to work as a consultant and expert in accreditation for the 2010 Shanghai China World Expo wayfinding System.
The team spent five months working on this design. It fully reflected the Expo's theme of "better city, better life". China 2010 Shanghai World Expo will be held from May 1 until October 31, 2010.
