Dr. Phyllis M. Wise, Provost and Vice President of the University of Washington, visited Tsinghua on November 12. During her visit, a memorandum of understanding for international cultural, educational and scientific cooperation between the two institutions and an agreement for student exchange were signed.
Tsinghua Vice President Xie Weihe had a discussion with Dr. Wise, in which he briefed her on Tsinghua's recent development. They also exchanged ideas on promoting further collaboration between their two universities.
