Tsinghua President Gu Binglin was awarded an Honorary Degree by L'École Centrale de Lyon on November 24 (French time).
The President delivered a speech entitled "Engineering Education and Engineering Cultivation in China" after the awarding ceremony.
President Gu and Tsinghua Vice President Wang Jindong participated in the activities of L'École Centrale de Lyon to celebrate its 150 anniversary. President Gu also attended the ceremony for the renewing of the Sino-France "4+4" exchange program contract.
