The School of Economics and Management issued Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) 2005 China Report at the GEM 2005 China Report Release Forum held recently. The forum was co-organized by Beijing Science and Technology Commission, Tsinghua SEM National Entrepreneurship Research Center and Tsinghua Science Park.
Since its first issue in 2002, GEM China Report has made profound and deep impact on China’s entrepreneurship research and practices.
GEM 2005 China Report completed a cross-city study among 16 cities in China on entrepreneurship environment and policies, entrepreneurship opportunities and capacities, as well as environmental differences and comparisons, etc. The report also offers its policy suggestions according to the comparative study.
The GEM China Report, issued by Tsinghua National Center for Entrepreneurship Research, is the only GEM report conducted according to standard and internationally comparable research methodology, and thus has become the most influential and authoritative research report on China’s entrepreneurship activities. It is also an important resource for further global entrepreneurship research.
