Professor Wolfgang Jäger, President of Universität Freiburg, Professor Hans Proemel, vice President of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, and Professor Angelos Chaniotis, Vice President of Universität Heidelberg, visited Tsinghua May 26. Tsinghua Vice President Kang Kejun met and had a talk with the guests.
During their talk, Vice President Kang Kejun gave an overview of Tsinghua University. He said he hoped more collaboration could be built between Tsinghua and German universities. After the talk, the guests visited Institute of Nuclear Engineering and New Energy Technology, the department of Industrial Engineering, and the Department of Automotive Engineering.
Members of the Delegation were representatives of the Sino-German University Presidents Meeting, which was held from May 24 to 26. Tsinghua Vice President Kang Ke Jun attended the meeting on behalf of the university.
