Mr. Cesar Pelli，a world-famous architect from the U.S., visited Tsinghua February 17.
Tsinghua Vice President Wang Jinsong welcomed Mr. Pelli and had a talk with him, giving an introduction of the university that emphasized student cultivation, discipline development and international cooperation.
Mr. Pelli delivered a speech in the School of Architecture.
Born in 1926, Mr. Pelli has won numerous awards, including the prestigious AIA (American Institute of Architects) Gold Medal, which recognizes a lifetime of distinguished achievement and outstanding contributions.
