The president of the University of Auckland, New Zealand’s top-ranking research university, visited Tsinghua on the afternoon of Sept. 20.
Professor Stuart N. McCutcheon and Tsinghua President Gu Binglin met and exchanged ideas on student enrollment and fundraising, emphasizing the importance of international cooperation and exchange.
Both presidents said they hoped that more collaboration could be built between the two universities in the future.
The University of Auckland was founded in 1883.
