A forum was held at Tsinghua on August 29 to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the anti-Japan war victory.
Twenty-six elderly Chinese who experienced the anti-Japan war took part in the forum. University Council Chairman Chen Xi, Vice President He Jiankun, Senior Administrator Zhang Zaixin, Vice President Gong Ke, former University Council Chairman Fang Huijian as well as other leaders and student representatives also attended.
The participants reviewed the heroic deeds of Tsinghua students during the war and exchanged their thoughts and feelings about the period.
A photo exhibition was held August 29 as part of a series of events held to commemorate the anniversary.
