Prof. Douwe Breimer, Rector Magnificus of Leiden University, visited Tsinghua on April 4.
Tsinghua Vice President Gong Ke met with Prof. Douwe Breimer and gave an introduction of Tsinghua’s history, students, research, and current development. He emphasized the importance of collaboration between universities.
Prof. Douwe Breimer introduced Leiden University and said he hoped cooperation could be built between Tsinghua and Leiden University.
Prof. Douwe Breimer also paid visits to the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, the Department of Biological Science and Technology, the Department of Mathematical Sciences, and Tsinghua Science Park.
