Professor Kwong Lee Dow, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Melbourne, visited TsinghuaUniversity on October 12. Tsinghua President Gu Binglin met and talked with Prof. Kwong Lee Dow.
Prof. Kwong introduced the University of Melbourne and higher education in Australia. President Gu reviewed the cooperation and exchange between the two Universities in the past years.
After the talk, Prof. Kwong visited the University’s Central Library and some teaching buildings.
Founded in 1853, the University of Melbourne is a famous University in Australia. In June of 2004, President Gu, together with other leaders of TsinghuaUniversity, paid a visit to the University of Melbourne.
