Approved by the University Council, the School of Software is going to be established. This school covers two parts that already existed, National CAD Software Research Center, as well as the School of Applied Technology. Gu Binlin, Vice President of Tsinghua University will be the director of it.
Providing well-trained computer software engineers for the information technology industry will be the major goal of this college. It has a current student enrollment already and first graduates are going to finish their study this summer.
