Tsinghua Welcomes New Students; Opening Ceremony Held
Registration for new students took place on August 19. Tsinghua has enrolled more than 3,300 undergraduate students in 2015, and an opening ceremony was held for new students the following day.
Tsinghua University President Qiu Yong, University Council Chairman Chen Xu, Tsinghua Deputy President Cheng Jianping, Tsinghua Vice President Xie Weihe, Tsinghua University Council Vice Chairpersons Shi Zongkai and Deng Wei, Tsinghua University Vice Presidents Jiang Shengyao, Xue Qikun, Ji Junmin, and Yang Bin, as well as Tsinghua University President Assistant You Zheng attended the opening ceremony.
